Summary: Character identity in the chat window fails to function when speaking in a language, but functions when no language is selected, and when emoting. Speech just appears as GM when speaking a language, regardless of selected identity.
Ruleset(s): Problem occurs in 3.5E D&D as well as PF2e. Have not tested other systems.
Extensions/Themes: Occurs in all default themes, both with and without extensions loaded.
Modules Loaded: All available 3.5e modules, as well as 5 custom modules of custom content written by me, that had no impact on the chatlog prior to this week.
Operating System / Language Setting: Win10 & Win11. English (Canada)
Steps to Reproduce: To date I have attempted updating Fantasy Grounds, starting a new campaign, booting up an old campaign, or doing any of the above with a different Theme or game system selected. I have disabled all extensions through the launcher. I have searched the patch notes to see if this was a deliberate change, and the forum, to see if this was something others were experiencing. I am not very computer savvy. Please help.
When I use the /id function to change my chat identity as a GM to anything other than GM, it works, and displays the new identity for all chat messages where it normally does, except speaking with a language selected, in which case it just says "GM."
