I have transparent tokens used for my portraits (or really anything with a transparent background as a portrait will do this) and the unassigned dotted circle with question mark is in any spot there is transparency. If I have a portrait defined I don't expect the unassigned image to be blended into it as a background.

Can you post a screenshot so I can understand better what is happening? Thanks.

And if I actually pick dash as the PC for my login - it will have the same dashed circle underlay you see in character list.

the dotted circle is the default background when u put in a token if it does not cover the circle you will still see it thats why you can only see part of it on some characters and more of it on others, its because your icon pictures are rectangles or have a clear background. even on ravak you can see it peeking out on the left and right if you look closely.

This is expected behavior. The base image will show through any transparency in the portrait image. You'll need to have the theme developer update the base portrait graphic to not contain the circle.

Did not realize theme was the culprit - thanks.
