Greetings,

I've updated FGU and I am trying to work with the official Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen module. I am running vanilla (DMG, Players, etc...all official books).

When I loaded after update, the map of Ansalon is nowhere to be found (another Cataclysm!).

Any suggestions?

I've unloaded the module and reloaded it.
I've unloaded all additional modules that I don't need (official ones).
I've kept the modules I want to use for the campaign (official, monster manual, dmg, players, mordkiens, tasha, etc.).

Note: I did put pins on the map, and a grid. I've removed the grid but still no map. No masking either.

Note 2: The map loads in other modules I load.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right click Revert Changes on the module. It's possible you accidentally deleted the map from the campaign. But, if you have changes in that campaign you do not want to load, start a new campaign, load the module and see if the map is there. If the map is still not there, then it's probably been accidentally removed from the module and once confirmed that is the case, SmiteWorks can get a fix in for the next update.

Thanks LordEntrtails,

I think I did delete it. I've gone through the 'Revert Changes' on the module and it is there. I don't know how I did it, but I must have deleted it somehow. Human error.

Thanks again!

I have the same Problem, all my maps dissapeared! I don't want to load the module back since I've made a lot of modifications! Clearly the problem is with Fantasy grounds!!!

Unless your issue is exactly the same as the OPs; Ansalon's map missing in the Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen module, please normally start a new thread with details.

Given that you said "all my maps" I don't think your issue is the same. If the below does not solve your issue, please start a new thread and provide details including what you have done to solve (per below) and reproducible steps for us to help you. See the link in my signature if you need.

First, create a new campaign, load your module, are the maps missing? If they are there are not missing in the new campaign, then you accidentally deleted them in your other campaign (or an extension you are using did). If you do not want to revert the module in the campaign, then you will need manually edit some files. Doing so risks you corrupting your entire campaign. If you are not comfortable doing that and know how to make backups prior to your editing etc, then don't.

To start,
- exit FG
- make backups
- open your FG Data folder, then campains/<camapign name>/moduledb
- Inside there find the xml file that corresponds to the module that you deleted the maps from
- open it and read through, remove the entries that related to the maps that have been deleted. Make sure your xml is well formed.
- start FG, open your campaign, verify your maps are now visible.

If this is related to Dragonlance module, there were notes from @ddavison that he changed the map file formats.

The easiest way to reset the maps is to right click and revert each one that is marked as edited, which will restore the default module image references.
However, if you've made lots of edits to a map, you could find the map in Assets and re-add it to the image record, and hide the old one (to prevent any LoS overlapping issues).

This is indeed the dragonlance module. All the official maps have disappeared, those with pins. I hate this kind of patch. I'm going to reset all the maps manually! Thanks!

I started entering a lot of changes into the campaign in november. Took a break until today and we are starting to play 10 days from now.
When I now updated and entered the campaign a lot of maps opened up as empty. They where listed in the Images but did not show any image in the maps.
I have not edited the maps before but a lot of the where marked as edited.
So I clicked every map marked edited and reverted them. (Thanks Moon Wizard for solving the problem)
