What have I done wrong? I have to following 'Spellcasting' under actions:

The kocrachon casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Wisdom as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 13):

At will: cure wounds

But, when casting cure wounds it does not add the +3 wisdom modifier.

The text parsing only accepts very specific formats that mirror the examples in the 5E Monster Manual. Here's an example from "Acolyte" NPC.

The acolyte is a 1st-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom. The acolyte has following cleric spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): light, sacred flame, thaumaturgy
1st level (3 slots): bless, cure wounds, sanctuary

The wording you have used in your example is for an innate spellcaster rather than a spellcaster; so the trait should be 'Innate Spellcasting' rather than just Spellcasting. If it is for a Spellcasting trait then the wording is in line with what Moon Wizard posted above.

Thank-you. I see three different formats in the way spells are included on NPCs (e.g. Priest, Abjurer Wizard, Pit Fiend). I found that the "pit fiend" format achieved what I needed, thank-you.

Yes, the Abjurer Wizard is from one of the newer books in which WotC have changed the spellcasting format by including them in actions rather than as a trait. The ruleset can accept the spellcasting either as an action (Abjurer Wizard) or as a trait (Priest). The Pit Fiend is an example of Innate Spellcasting as I noted above and that can also either go in the traits list or in the actions tab. In every case you must follow the strict wording as noted on the wiki pages I linked.
