Another Question about Reference Manual

How do I get an Image I created and drag and link it in the reference manual?

Every time I try to drag it in, it doesn't take.
Please see the attachment of what I am trying to do with the image.

The reference manual only accepts flat images at this time. Those with one layer and no adjustment. You could drop a base image first and then edit it, but any new additions to the map won't display in the thumbnail.
