Hello,

I recently purchased the Lost Eagle Inn from the Forge fom Grim Press. And I am trying to set the map up for my party. I just really cannot get my head around it to get the following things done.

1. I struggle with the basics of character navigation. As the Map hold a three story area and characters are stuck in one area when trying to 'move up the stairs' is the only way for them to get there to have a DM remove their tokens and manually adding them again on set floor? other option is to open all the closed doors, drag their tokens and revealing all the areas unintentionally. Or am I missing a way for them to do it themselves?

2. I love to place a 'chest' in all the rooms for their personal use. Can I link an interactable map asset to an interactive parcel of sorts?
I seem to have all the 5e Automated Effects from Grim Press too. Might that help with Parcel placements?

I'm sorry but somethings are really over my head in FGU

As DM you can hold SHIFT whilst dragging a token from one area to another without revealing anything and allowing moving through walls etc.

You can link an image to another image by just dragging the image from campaign image list and dropping onto the existing image and then share the pin so players can see the pin and click it (you’ll also need to share the linked image). You can also pin a treasure parcel to an image by dragging the link icon and dropping it onto the map and sharing the pin and the parcel. There isn’t really an interactive way of doing this without extensions. I believe there is an extension that does this. Check the forge for map parcels or similar.

I would never have figured it out. Thanks so much!
