I've got a game in a half hour and can't get my Vampire campaign to start. It hangs for seven minutes or so on the FG screen, then closes or I have to force quit. This is my log:

This modules is taking over 5 minutes to load.

As a work around, go into your campaign directory: <FG app data>\campaigns\Kindred & Kine (get to <FG app data> by clicking the folder button in the top left of the main FG launch screen) and then rename modulestate.xml to modulestate_old.xml then load up your campaign.

This will mean that you're starting with no modules activated. Hopefully this will allow you to load up your campaign - then activate a small number of modules you need, if you activate Cults of the Blood God, remember to deactivate if before exiting the campaign - otherwise you may have the issue again.

I was not able to replicate at this time, but Moon Wizard did suggest in another thread to try some things and see if it fixes the issue.

Still having this issue with the Cults of the Blood Gods module. Just bought the Chicago By Night Mod and it's running fine.

We tried to recreate here, but without luck.

Here's something to try that will reset the module completely.
* Open FG
* Open FG data folder (via button in upper left of launch screen)
* From the root folder, delete the file located at vault/WOD5ERGS09622.dat
* From the root folder, go to the folder located at campaigns/<CampaignName>/moduledb/; and delete any file starting with Cult of the Blood Gods.
* Return to FG, and run a new Check for Updates.

If that still doesn't work, check to see if it loads faster in a brand new WOD campaign.

That worked! I had previously deleted and reloaded the .dat file but not the module DB, so I guess something must have been corrupted there...
