I may be moving to a PC gaming laptop, from my Mac. I have FGU for Mac. If I do get the PC gaming laptop I'm looking at, will I need to buy another Ultimate license, for a PC this time? It's not a huge deal, just $100 that I'd prefer not to spend. For the record, it's because I want better performance to play BG3 and my M2 Mac isn't cutting it--it's 'fine' but I have low-mid settings for everything. So, this will literally become a D&D only laptop. [edit] typos only.

No. Your licenses are not tied to a PC, but to a person. Just install FG on your new computer and enter your license key. If you have campaigns you want to move you will have to copy them. Modules and extenstions from places other than the FG Store or FG Forge will need to be copied as well.

Better wording of the question would have been, if a get a PC (currently on a M2 Mac Air), will I need to purchase a Windows version of FGU even if I already have a MAC version? I know, somewhat semantics, but they are different scenarios.

Not a problem. Just to make sure you know, the answer is still no. You can use the same license on PCs or Macs. :)
