Hey guys,

I'm a new user and I'm having several questions.

- Can I open two instances of the FGU to see how the campaign appears from the player's perspective?

- I purchased two sets of dice, but my players do not have access. Is this purchased dice just for the DM? Does everyone have to buy their own or can I share?

- Two of my players are only opening the app to 2/3 of the screen. Is there any recommended action in this case?

- Is there an easier way to show images? I came from another VTT that allowed me to just drag the image to the chat, does the FGU do anything similar? I think the process of placing the image in the assets folder and then creating an image and then sharing it with players is a very time-consuming process. Is there an alternative?

-Every time I add an image, no matter which group it is in, it appears in the uncategorized group to the players. Can I organize the images that appear to the players into groups?

Yes, open another instance on the same computer and join your game.

Dice are only available to the user that owns them, they can't be shared.

Not sure what you mean by this. Please provide more details.

Use the import image button at the bottom of the campaign image list.

Shared records appear in the uncategorized group on the player side.

Yes, open another instance on the same computer and join your game.

Open two instances how? Double clicking on the app icon just makes it open my already opened instance. Is there any other way to open it?

Once you have the first instance open and a campaign open right click on the FG icon on the taskbar and select Fantasy Grounds. Select that will start a second instance; click on Join and type in your username into the Join by DM box. What OS are you on? On my Windows machine clicking on the short cut in the Start menu once, then again - starts two instances. If you are using Steam on Windows you can start the first instance with Steam and once it is running right click on the FG icon on the taskbar and select FantasyGrounds to start the second instance.

If you are in a specific category when you import, the image will be added to that category.
You can move an image later by expanding the category list and dragging the image from the object list to the category list item you want it to be part of.

But no matter what category it is in for me, it always appears in Uncategorized for players.
But I've been told that's how it is.

Oh yea, for players yes. Players only see categories from modules that are loaded, not from the campaign itself. Sorry I didn't pay enough attention to what you said earlier.
