Hi, all.
I was wondering if there was any way to get Custom Dice Rolls to work in Savage Worlds. I know that TPTB didn't see much use in coding applications for a bunch of different damage types that Savage didn't use, but then they went and gave us Damage Keywords to differentiate damage types within the effects engine, and... Well I dunno, I keep thinking it'd be kinda cool to set my cool snazzy VTT to use that functionality to use the zappy sparky dice I bought should I zap my players with an out-and-out lightning attack, and if the Ampersand game can have it, then I don't think it should be out of reach for a robust ruleset such as Savage Worlds.
Especially with the new blood dice! I'd love to bloody my players up a little on a successful damage roll!
Cheers and fingers crossed.

It will come eventually, when Ikael has time to add it to the system. But not at the moment.

Waiting for it! Im wishing purchase some dice packs in order to build some amazing good-looking rolls for my players and NPC's...
I would like to set both damage and traits rolls (healing, spell casting, and so on...).

Hello everyone, is there any possibility of setting up custom dice for attack types, trait rolls, and/or damage rolls in the near future?
Thanks in advance.

That's on the list, but I don't know when we'll get to it.
Those features are D&D oriented. Similar to the more advanced sound features. (SWADE at least gets basic functionality with sounds, but I'd like to incorporate more sound features.)
SWADE will have to do some lifting to incorporate these features.
We've been focused on catching up SWADE to all the CoreRPG changes and SWADE changes, as well as adding long-awaited ruleset features.
We're close to caught up. Then we'll look at catching up to added functionality like sounds and custom dice rolls.

I love everything you're doing with SWADE—the new combat tracker features, the Cards: Hover over option, the challenges and the custom dice! Congrats and thanks!
I've always thought the sidebar should have an additional layout option: right alignment. That way, you could keep the sidebar at full width, and when space gets tight, you could shift a window (like the combat tracker) over the text labels while keeping the icons visible.
It's not a dealbreaker, but I think it would be really convenient.
I've included a quick mockup in case my explanation isn't clear.
Anyway, keep it savage!!!

Thank you for the appreciation!
That's not a bad idea.
The right sidebar comes from CoreRPG.
Post this in The Tavern (or ask a moderator to move this post there). I think other rulesets would like this feature.
Also, add this as a feature request and post the link here. I'll vote for it!
