Having issues loading any rule book modules using Fantasy Grounds Unity joining a friend's game. On Windows 10, mostly using the Steam hosted demo version. After uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times, still no success solving the issue. Everything is fine on the host's end, two other players are having no issues. I'll log into the server, select my character, go under Library to select modules to load. It comes up showing nothing has loaded... When I click load/unload no rule book covers never show up and the button does nothing. The books remain closed.

I swapped to downloading Fantasy Grounds straight from this site and have gotten the same results. Wanted to see if it had something to do with Steam.

Going to try again this afternoon to see if this latest reinstall works. Will post screenshots if unsuccessful.

Separate thread might be needed for this, but wanted to mention it just in case.
Might also be related to the issue, no pictures or maps load on the server for me as well. Other players have character portraits that won't load. Any new photos or game maps the host shares do not load at all. I just see a black screen with player tokens on it. Host has tried different file types to see if this has resolved the issue .jpeg vs .png with no success. Host doesn't hide most maps from view from his end, just shows us the hold battle field.

Update... I'm having the same issue on my other computer with the same campaign.

Welcome to the FG forums. Sorry you're having issues.

Please provide more information about your issue. When you say "mods" do you mean extensions that you select on the Load Campaign screen, or library modules that you activate once you load up your campaign?

Please provide exact details of your issue, including which ruleset you're loading - with steps to get to where you have the issue.

It sounds like you are have networking issues that isn't allowing you to download the information from the GM's machine. This is usually due to some type of throttling/flood protection.

Would this come from my end or his?

When you are a player, you can only load modules that the GM has marked allowed. Make sure your GM has marked the module as allowed to be loaded (green check) in the Module Activation window.

You can test by hosting your own campaign and trying to load one of your modules in that campaign.

Checked on the game. I'm allowed to access the rule modules.

If you can access them when you host a campaign but not when you join as a player, then it's that the host/GM needs to allow you to access them.

I think DCrumb is on the right lines if you aren't able to get modules or images. If other players can't get the modules and images then the problem is likely with the DM. If you are the only one with the issue then it would be at your end. The easiest thing to check on is anti virus; and also if you or the DM is using a FVN switching that off will also probably help. However it would still be good if you provided
