Every time I try to access any of the class proficiency links i get the error message:

windowcontrol:Database type mismatch on path (text) in control (text) in class (reference_class proficiency)

I tried disabling the one extension i had been using, but it is still happening even when i have no extensions enabled. i tried uninstalling everything from my pc and reinstalling, but i cannot figure out what is causing this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not seeing this. Can you say what version of FGU shows at the top right of the start screen and what version of the 5e and CoreRPG rulesets is noted in chat when you start a campaign. Also what book are you accessing the class from (You have SRD, Basic Rules, and the PHB open but only need the PHB since the others are just cut down versions of the PHB).

Welcome to the FG forums!

I can recreate the issue, so it's not something you're doing. It's a while since I used the 5E ruleset in anger, and I don't remember those links being present for the first level proficiencies - so it may be something recent. Looking at the base class data, there's nothing attached to those links - hence the error. I'm not sure what those links would actually show - as all of the information relating to the first level proficiency is shown in the GUI already.

So, for now, ignore those links (for the first level class proficiencies) and hopefully the issue will get resolved soon.

Thank you

Version 4.4.3 Standard (2023-07-04)
Dungeons and Dragons (5E) ruleset (2023-08-29)
I have tried all three of them individually with nothing else loaded and get the same message every time

I noted and verified. We will investigate the issue.

Thanks for reporting. The fix will go out with the v4.4.4 release scheduled for this week.
