Hi.
I am pretty new here, but I liked this tool a lot. I would like to purchase it and make games for my friends, but here I have a question - if I purchase full licence, do my firends need to purchase it too, to connect and participate in my game?

No, players only need a light license. The GM needs a full license. Also note that they will need a light license each or there will be key conflicts.

Ok, I see.
One more question - are these licenses purchased for life or terminated in time (let`s say - for 1 year)? Sorry for questions, but can`t find answers in site.
And one more - what is standart ruleset for the games?

The license is for life and includes free upgrades. It comes with a D20 basic ruleset. And never worry about asking, that way lies wisdom after all.

I believe all we can really say is that licences are for the life time of the version of Fantasy Grounds. License holders for the previous version of fantasy grounds were treated to a free upgrade to the current version. I dont think we have any assurances that will happen again.
One of the great things about FG is that the full license is the server license and the lite licenses are the client licenses. Once you have a game up and running you don't need any other products or companies. You have no subscription costs.
My personal recommendation is that if there is even a chance someone is going to DM they should buy the full license. All my players have and they haven't regretted it. There is _no_ upgrade path from lite to full.
It's a great product and, for me, much cheaper than gas\time costs to get together with my players regularly. It doesn't replace face to face but its way more convenient. Sometimes its the only way possible.

Another reason to buy full license is creating characters offline with 3rd party rulesets. For some reason, I don't know why, there are problems creating offline characters with the lite license. I'm pretty sure this applies to the Savage Worlds ruleset as well as my own Warharmmer and Dark Heresy rulesets. I don't know if it applies to others.
If you're going to use d20 though, you should be good. Offline character creation works fine with d20 and lite license.

The Lite licence issues for character creation are related to the way ruleset are distributed: a PAK ruleset can be used with a Lite licence, whereas a Folder ruleset needs to be connected to a Full licence.
Not that this has much to do with the OP...
