Elven Chain does not grant Medium Armor Profiency

A rewarded a warlock at my table Elven Chain from their patron. As stated, "you are considered proficient with this armor even if you lack proficiency with medium armor." Currently, it does not award medium proficiency and I also can't code it in to his character sheet by typing in 'Medium Armor' under proficiencies.

For what ruleset?

Generally FGU doesn't do anything with proficiency. It assumes that you are proficient with any weapon or armour that you equip. In 5e for example if you open the Combat Calculation (magnifying glass in the centre of the main page) you'll see a yellow proficiency star. If you don't see that then click it to toggle it. If you equip armour with which you are not proficient then you should toggle the proficiency star off.
