On page 288 of the 5e DMG, there's a variant rule for Spell Points.
If you own the 5e DMG on D&D Beyond, you can see the rule at this link:

Is there a way to implement them into FGU? I could always create a ranged weapon called "Spell Points" and give it a number of ammo bubbles, but is there another way? a mod or something?
Been thinking about implementing them in my games, because I just hate vancian magic that much. =)
