comm: mix of text & voice via discord (no recordings)

the horizon ahead
- aquatic, remote, survival
- pathfinder 1e, golarion
- 50/50 roleplay/combat
- cooperative problem-solving

can you weather it?
- higher-level pc (on book 6)
- moderate+ pathfinder 1e experience required; beginners may struggle
- long-term campaign: punctuality and consistent attendance required
- only apply if you read this post fully and understand expectations

survival rules
- no evil-aligned pcs; selfish behaviors must evolve toward party good
- no gunslinger, magus, or summoner classes (summoning spells/items okay)
- crafting limited mostly to potions
- official paizo 1e sources only; gm mostly follows raw & ap content
- tactical in-character suggestions allowed; do not control other players
- party balance and campaign structure are handled by the gm —
- players are encouraged to focus on their own characters and roleplay

life at the table
- respectful, engaged, open-minded; casual humor welcome
- participation = comfort + enjoyment

- monk: front-liner, melee damage-dealer
- witch: buff / debuff; 2ndary healer
- rogue / alchemist: skill-knowledge monkey; 2ndary healer

Hi there, I am very interested. Been playing D&D for over 4 decades. Bought FG in 2015 but didn’t get into it till 2020 (Covid) mainly DM Pathfinder 1e but love playing as player. Tuesday or Wednesday is best for me?! Fighter/Barbarian or Sorcerer preferred but am willing to play anything.

I'm interested in playing. I recently returned to PF1e play after an 8 year absence. I'm not sure what I'd play, but I've never played a Monk, Shifter or Wizard. Thurs, Fri and Sun are the only days that I can play, with Thurs being the preferable of those days.

Sorry tahl_liadon, I had a bit of a brain fart in my earlier post. For some reason I thought the class possibiities you'd listed were those you were allowing in the campaign - doh! Other than a Ranger-Shifter the classes I gave aren't the ones I'd be likely to play. If it's OK with you, I'll list my class preferences after I've put a bit of thought into it.

I'd be interested but Thursdays don't work for me. If you do Tuesdays I'd love to play a Brawler in your game. I tend to do rp builds and am terrible at maximizing for peak combat. Feel free to Holler at me if you have room/interest in my joining.

Why, no, I'm not a member of the cult.

(BTW, so far, the monk has not been proven wrong....he may actually be immortal. I don't know how, I had thought he might have become a lich. But he's healed by Sarenrae's holy energy, so that can't be it.)

Due to real life getting in the way (in a good way...I think), I have to bow out of this game in a couple of weeks. I am currently playing a Merciful Healer cleric of Sarenrae, but I don't think anyone new *has* to be another healer. Besides, the monk is immortal, so there's really not all that much healing to do.....::looks around nervously::.

I like healers and that is on my bucket list. I have never liked FG compared to Foundry but maybe if helped with the learning curve it wouldn't be bad...
