Hi all

When the tokens on a map are locked, when you move them it counts up your movement as you go. Its very useful :D

Is it possible to enable this when the tokens are NOT locked?

I've had a search but cant find anything so any help advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

No. Movement distance is only shown when tokens are locked. It's expected that distance is only relevant when in combat situations; or it's important to know how far a token has moved. You can use a pointer to measure distance if you need to know how far away something is; if token lock isn't appropriate for the situation.

move the token holding the Alt key of the keyboard.

That only works with the token lock on

No it can't be done. I can't even think of a use case for this. Why on earth would there be a need to measure movement with token lock off?

Because you want to measure total movement over a non-straight travel path, but don't want/need GM approval.

I'd really like to see the GM approval be optional. If it's turned off, they player can get the checkbox to click when they're satisfied with their clever movement plan.

Add it to the Wish List so that it can be voted on :)

For what it is worth, I've now just done so. Thanks for the suggestion.
