View Full Version : My FX are currently broken? Mostly?

When I try to add things like clouds, if I change the speed, density etc even a little bit it turns into a flashing mess. It seems to get better if I reload or hide and then re-enable. This has only been a problem since the most recent update. My PC is entirely fine (no changes) outside of FGU. Really don't like this as I have photosensitive issues and changing the FX should not produce this type of issue.

What ruleset are you using? Do you have any extensions enabled? What operating system and graphics card are you running? Screen resolution and refresh rate? Have you tried altering the graphic card setting for FGU? What about using any of the graphic performance settings? Can you record a short video of the behavior and upload here? As well as compile logs and attach them as well?

I'm using D&D5e. I do not think I have any addons or extensions installed. I'm on Windows 10 64 bit and I have an RTX 2080 Super. I'm on 2560x1440 resolution with a 144hz refresh rate. I haven't changed any settings with regards to graphics at all. I can make a video but it will be a bit until I upload it. Sorry!

Can you set up your campaign so that you can see the issue?
Does the issue re-appear after reloading the same campaign after exiting with the issue occurring?
Can you zip up and post your campaign folder so that we can take a look?
