How to create Actions with effects that can be copied and droped? (like spells)

Hi people. Some weeks ago i was creating somethings for my campaigns and then i was stuck with the creation of an item. This item it has a effect to DR so i wanted to create a action with effect. My problem was that i couldnt copy and then drop the same action into another character sheet, it only copied the name of the action or took the entire action and translated into the another character. My wish i would be if i can to do something like the spells (spell library) with effects but with actions instead. Thx for the answers.

I play starfinder for the most, then Pathfinder and DnD5e. Thx.

I'm not very familiar with SF or PF rulesets. For 5E there is a NPC Maker extension that does it for NPCs. There might be an extension that does it for PCs, but it will probably be ruleset specific.

You can always add the idea to the Wish List, link in Mr Z's signature.

In 5e you can simply drag the effect line and drop it into another character. You can also drag it into the open spells list and it will create a new 'spell' with the effect; which can be dragged into another character from there. You can also export the 'spells' into a module and use it in another campaign.

In Pathfinder (and I think also Starfinder) you need to create a new spell group in the action tab of the character that you want to drop the effect into; and then drag the effect and drop it into that spell group.
