Hello.

I noticed that there has been a small change to the home screen that allows you to filter extensions. This is already an improvement, but I would like to know if there are any plans to include an extension search bar in that field? It is a feature that is sorely lacking, especially with the dozens of extensions that can be obtained directly from Forge.

I agree. As I acquire more extensions, that list gets longer and more tedious to scroll through.

You can make the suggestion here: http://fgapp.idea.informer.com/

I suspect others will vote for it too.

Just an FYI in case there are those out there that do not know. In Forge, you can go into inventory and disable or disable and hide extensions you no longer will use. you can always go back and turn them on again.

but a search bar would be helpful.

I always forget about this. Thanks.

I added a suggestion on the Idea Informer: http://fgapp.idea.informer.com/proj/fgapp?ia=141178

Filtering to those that are not tagged as being specific to rulesets of which none are either CoreRPG or the ruleset that's associated with the campaign would seem to be a reasonable default, at least.

Extensions are already filtered by ruleset. I just tested that to make sure and if I select the 2e ruleset for example none of the 5e specific extensions I have show up on the list.

There might be some weirdness going on, or maybe it's specific to older extensions, but when set to load an existing PF2e campaign, among the extensions it still lists for me are

* https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/623/view (Druid Wild Shapes (v0.1.5))
* https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/126/view ("Random Encounter Generator 5E")
* https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/140/view ("Mad Nomad's Consumable Items")

all of which are explicitly listed as 5E Compatible (only) and not PF2e or CoreRPG.

There's some filtering going on, because I have other extensions which are 5E specific and aren't showing up for the same PF2e campaign like 5E Polymorphism... but eh. Is it possible that the extensions are properly categorized in the Forge store itself, but not in metadata within the extension used to filter?

That's exactly what it is - the extensions themselves haven't been tagged correctly.
