New computer character disappeared FGU

Hi all, I set up a new PC and when I connect to my GM's game my character is missing. If I go back to my old PC and log into my gm's game my character is there.

I have tried copying my fantasy grounds Unity folder from the old to the new pc to no avail. Regardless the character should be controlled by my GM's computer, not mine, at least that's how I understood it worked. Thoughts?

Character ownership is case sensitive for the username. Just have your GM clear ownership of the character and then take ownership of it from the new computer. Or you can log out of your account in your new computer and log in to FG again with the same capitalization you used on your old computer.

For anyone else with this issue, I had capitalized the first letter of my username for my account on my new PC, the old one was not. Changing it to lowercase fixed it. I thought I had tried that but I must not have clicked save. All good now!
