Good day to you all

So I feel I know the answer but I thought I would pick the brains of the community.

So I am setting up a PF2 game and plan to steam it. I have followed the useful OBS for dummies etc pinned earlier in this forum and I am ready to go.

Here however I hit upon a small and possibly irksome problem. Like many a DM who is having a night of Nat20's I sonetimes want to fudge the dice, to save my players from a TPK.

So my query is: Is there a way to hide gm dice rolls totally from the stream? I am guessing not or the best answer would be to not share the chat box...
Over to the experts

Many thanks in advance

Not if you are streaming the DM screen. I don't know for sure since I don't stream or watch them but I believe that many streamers stream a player instance rather than the DM one. In that case you'd be able to do the dice fudging thing (as long as you have Show DM rolls switched off).

Another option is to set up the OBS streamed windows to only specific parts of your FGU GM desktop. As an example, set OBS to only show the map and combat tracker portions of the FGU interface; or, at the very least, hide the chat window. Not sure how viable that is, but if your group doesn't really use the chat window, it's absence on your stream won't be an issue.
