A Question on Lite Version

i have the full version and the savage worlds ruleset. does the players with the lite version also need the savage worlds ruleset or can i force load the rules to them when they're log to my server?

i'm considering purchasing a lite version for a friend so we can play a one-on-one and wondering if he needs SW also. thanks!

No :) they don´t need the ruleset :D

In the case of Savage Worlds they would need the player .mod file for them to access that while in game.

From what I've seen the player doesn't need a license but he won't be able to open up the SW game files that explain the rules ect. If he has the license he will be able to.

No Player Mod File

The player side is less important if you are using the lastest Explorer rules. The ruleset is the Revised Core, or the next to latest rules. If, like my group, you want to use the latest rules they'll need to buy the PDF\Book anyway.

Or wait to buy the upgrade, when available, from DA.
