Syrinscape issue

Hello community, I will apologize in advance if I misuse a phrase or term, I am not a computer savvy guy. Was hoping to get some info on a update that happened between the 28 - 30th with Syrinscape. I cannot use Syrinscape internet browser page. There was a update recently where when you Generate a new session url, then click Invite, two buttons populate. One only the DM can see that reads "Syrinscape session controls." the other is for the players to join the session. This feature worked great on the 28th or two then there was another update two days later on the 30th (or at least thats when I updated mine), it no longer worked.

Now either button I click on only allows me to join the session as a player. I do not get any of the controls, only the single "Click to Start" feature. I cannot get to the operations.

Is this a glitch being fixed? Am I doing something wrong? I am on Linux if that helps with troubleshooting.

Did you log into your Syrinscape account before generating the session?

I had not, but I just tried it. It only brings up the screen that says click to Start and then the only thing available is just the audio bar volume adjuster. On the top right corner is a button that says "New Game" but clicking that starts a new session that the players cannot hear.

The Syrinscape devs have been changing things on their side. We'll be working on a change this week that should work with their changes. As a workaround, you can go to their front page, log in, and select Play Now.

I noticed the same issue. Here is a work around. On the Syrinscape page, the "Play Now" button has the same issue. However, if you are logged in and click the down arrow next to your profile to open your profile you can click "Online Control Panel". In the Online Control Panel, there is a button in the left column that says "Go to the Master Interface". If you click that button it will open the web app.

If you are logged into syrinscape.com the url for the DM is: https://syrinscape.com/online/master/#/
The web link in FGU has to have the token in the url so it's more complicated.

Edit: I messed around with this some more and I noticed that at the top of the player window there was a "New Game". I clicked it and got to the Master Player.
