LCD Projector Burn In

My group wants to meet in person at long last but still use FGU.
The player who wants to host has a lcd projector but their significant other is objecting
due to the possibility of burn in on their projector (having a still image for multiple hours)

Does anyone have any experience or even better links to articles about this?
I couldn't find anything with google.

Burn in hasn't been a thing really since LCD's started taking over. There's a reddit post talking about it and an AV specialist has seen it, but it was in a corporate setting where the projectors were left on for DAYS at a time.

A group of mine just finished our 3rd campaign in person using an LCD projector, sessions went for about 4 hours and we haven't seen anything for the 5ish years.

It was a slight concern when we started, but as @Nylanfs said, it's a rare issue these days and after the first year that it didn't happen, we stopped worrying about it. :D

is it bad that my iphone has Tik Tok controls burned in? I need a life. But yes with very few exceptions burn in is not a thing (damn Iphone) anymore. AV coordinator for our school for 12 years
