hi,

i'm new to FF2 and wanted to know if there's a list of PC that i can add to test out a game tonight instead of creating characters. either fantasy or any other genre would be fine. thanks!

Well, the easiest thing to do would be to buy the official SW rules set by Digital Adventures. No sense in you reinventing the wheel. :)

Looks like it is going for $12 at the moment which would be a great deal if you plan on running SW games in FG. Not only will you get Character Sheets but the cards and other SW game mechanics as well.

Good luck!

i did buy it. it doesn't come with pre-gen characters, however (unless i missed something). are there characters pre-made here somewhere that i can use real quick to test out the system instead of creating the characters? thanks

Oh! Sorry, I miss-understood what you are looking for.

No, nothing like that here.

I did spend some time putting in the pre-made characters from Evernight and the back of the Ork adventure that comes with SW. It only took a few min per character.

There were a few Edges and Hinderances that are listed on the sheets that are not in the rule set but nothing stopping you from still listing them.

thanks. the only thing i found a little time-consuming was dragging the skills from the ruleset to the character sheet and then dragging the dice for it as well, instead of just typing it. other than that, i'll look at some pre-made PC from my books and just write down the info.

thanks!

You could just type it by right clicking and hit create new item.

I wanted to do the same thing as you when I got the SW ruleset. I am using it for Pirates of the Spanish Main and just wanted to a few example characters to test the ruleset. I got lucky. Someone was going to run a PotSM game (it never did get off the ground) and several people posted characters which I input as samples. You can see them on the thread here at Four Ugly Monsters: https://www.fouruglymonsters.com/community/showthread.php?t=1358

Edit: I also used the sample characters you can download for the free Pirates adventure here: https://www.peginc.com/archives/onesheet/set-a-course-for-adventure/

I am not actually running PotSM right now. I did run the free adventure I linked to several times in face to face games using the supplied pregens and the charaters in the thread I linked to.

I am planning on running Pirates online after I finish the Istivin Adventure Path game I am running now, though. There are a number of SW games going on in the forums including some one shots.

I am running Shaintar on Saturday's from 2000 until 2330ish GMT+1 - you are more than welcome to sit in on the action if you wish to :)
