Actions Tab Help

PFRPG:

The 'Actions' tab is still a bit confusing to me. Is there a resource that explains the functions & features. Some specifics are:

Differences between modes (Standard, Preparation, Combat)?

Adding class spell-like abilities such as the Kineticist's Kinetic Blast?

Adding circumstance attack or damage rolls?

How to add to the 'Items' & 'Other' tabs?

As you can tell, i'm relatively new to FGU.

The different modes allow you to do different things; for example preparation mode is where you would select your spells for the day and limit certain actions according to how many uses you have per day. Combat mode sort of speaks for itself and Standard just shows you what' there.
