View Full Version : When Rolling Dice Is There A Way To Auto Total?

I have noticed that when using the /die command, it provides the roll and modifier, but not an automatic total.

For example: /die 1d6+3 will show up in the windows as the die roll +3. You can right click on it and do a Sum, but I would like this to be automatic.

Is this possible?

Thanks

It is quite doable, and I think there is a thread that describes the how of it as well, but I can't seem to find it at the moment.

Ah... there it is :

If you don't want to hack the software you can just drag and drop to get the total. Its what I do.

If you don't want the total to show up in the chat window grag and drag the result off the chat window. When you grab it you will see the total and when you drop it off the chat window it will not show up.

I do this too. It is very fast to just "wiggle" the roll off the chat window to the right to see the total and drop it on the FG desktop to get rid of it. You need to do this if you don't want the players to see the number and can't drop it in chat.

Also, the upgraded d20 ruleset I've beeb working on has an auto-total option built in, as well as some other improvements.
