Trouble adding npc's to combat tracker from encounter window

When I try to add npc's from an encounter into the combat tracker using the "Add Encounter to Combat Tracker" button I get the error message [ERROR] script execution error: [string "C:battle:addct"]:12 attempt to call field 'addBattle' (a nil value). I had this problem last night as I was running a game, and it is still happening today.

I did some checking around and found that there has been a very recent update to Critically Awesome Essentials that I somehow missed. When I installed the updated files, things seem to be working again.
