Dabbling with Sound

I watched the update video and also in the Library section of FGU i see sound support. However, the sound packs on sale do not appear to have Independant sound files but are links to syrinscape and need a syrinscape account to work. Now I have never attempted to dabble with sound effect in game before I am reluctant to sign up to yet another website to tryout something that I or more especially my players may not like.
Is there a way to dabble in the sound effects game with out using a syrinscape account?

Just to hear from the other side of it, I have never used sound in my games, but when I watched the video on the update I thought it looked nifty. I signed up for Syrinscape and bought the 5e trigger packs. Works pretty seamlessly once you handle the setup (I did this all during the game as my players tend to stall out a bit). Works fantastic from my point of view.

Not really, unless you want to setup audio locally, which also means you will have to recreate the links that you want and such. Maybe this article will help ?
