Coping... and pasting text within FGU.

Hi

How exactly do you copy text...from, for instance the reference manual and paste it in story or another place within FGU ?
I have watched '' Unity basics formatted text and Unity importing text '' but I some how, might have missed it.

I can copy text from outside of FGU and paste it within FGU no problem.


I've tried the Top right hand corner of many texts '' copy record content '' and the commands below...

CTRL+A Select all text

CTRL+C Copy selected text to the clipboard.

I am sure it is pretty straight forward, but after 2 hours later lol...any help is appreciated.

You probably need to unlock teh record you are trying to copy from first.

Indeed, as damned says once you unlock the record CTRL+A; CTRL+C and CTRL+V all work as expected. (as well as a CTRL+Z and CTRL+X).
