With today's update, I no longer have a Syrinscape tab and there is nothing populated in my Sound Sets (new) tab. Please advise.

Disable all your extensions and try in a new campaign.
Also, have you looked at the new wiki pages or videos with details?

What information have you lost? Were you previously running in test and have now switched to live? Or were you running some of the community Syrinscape extensions?

I have tried to disable the Syrinscape extentions I had in my campaign and FGU locks up when I try to unload them.

I was running community Syrinscape extentions (MK), which I am trying now to unload but it locks up FGU when I hit the unload button.

To clarify - FG "locks" when unloading the module in the Module Activation screen? If so, modules with a lot of data can take a long time to unload - give it a few minutes.

So, I assume I can no longer use the sound files triggered within FGU that I don't buy thru FGU. Is this correct?

If you want to continue using the extensions and data you've used before, you can continue to do that - as long as they continue to work and the developers of those community products continue to support them. They are different solutions to what now comes with FGU.

Mattekure found an error in his chat trigger extension, and it was not working. However he is pushing an update today.

I've been following the Discord discussion, and I think this is true. The new FGU update usurps the prior Syrinscape Exts from MK. I think we have to rebuild any "chat triggers" from scratch. Looks like about the same idea from the MK chat triggers but, as yet, I don't see a bulk set of chat triggers, so we have to do them one at a time.
Please let me know if there is a different solution. Thanks!

Please see post #8 for my response to @Dintaur. You can keep using stuff you've been using before. They are similar, but different to, the new FGU functionality - if you want to move to the new FGU functionality then, yes, you need to recreate what you had.

I appreciate the response. I've been speaking with MK directly on Discord, too.
I have updated to the FGU sound system and can play my Syrinscape sounds from within FGU.
However, as I understand it (and as I see in FGU), FGU 4.4 has removed the prior MK Syrniscape menu item, and with it, all the chat triggers from MK. If I'm just missing them, I'd love to be wrong about that.
Also, the 4.4 Update video mentions/shows a number of a Syrinscape modules that are supposed to drop with 4.4, and I don't see any new modules in FGU or the Forge.
I'm confused. Thanks.
(I got an explanation from MK... he will be updating to solve this problem.... I misunderstood what he was saying. And the Sound Mods are in FG Store not the Forge. I'm catching up, slowly. Thanks all.)

That wasn't my understanding of what would happen. And I'd find it very strange that SmiteWorks would disable something that is available for purchase on the FG Forge. I'll investigate, I'm hoping it's just a misunderstanding and Mattekure can modify/update their products to continue to work with FGU.

There are three sound modules in the FG store, all with "Syrinscape Sound Link Pack" in the name - these are the modules Doug showed in the v4.4 Feature Update video.

Hey all, I just saw this thread. As Drake said, the update last night changed some code that my extension was using which caused things to break. I have submitted a fix which will allow it to continue working as it did previously. Its being pushed to DMsGuild and the Forge today. Once that update is available, you will be able to use either the new built in syrinscape option, or continue to use my extension. The FG devs have put a lot of work into making an awesome new interface for it. I will continue to support my extension as there are still some users who will benefit from it, but I plan on moving to the new FG implementation for my own games. About the only thing that my extension does that the FG implementation doesnt is supporting users who wish to use the old legacy Syrinscape offline apps (Fantasy player, Sci-Fi Player)

Investigating further - there is one error in the current Syrinscape Sounds v26 extension - which Mattekure has asked about on the forums elsewhere (which has an easy fix). This error is within a script that sets up the sidebar buttons - the error occurs before the buttons are setup, so no buttons appear as the code exits when it encounters the error.

SmiteWorks have always bent over backwards to ensure backwards compatibility (pun intended, sorry!) with existing community content. This appears to be the case here - there's a minor update needed to the Syrinscape Sounds extension and then it should continue to work.

For my testing I modified the extension directly. I recommend you wait for Mattekure to fix the extension.

The update has been pushed. you should update and you will be able to use it as before.
