How to change resolution or zoom out the screen?

Hello, how can I "zoom out" the screen? When you put the map on the background I feel I have little space, I dont know if is for the size of my computer screen, I have a laptop. I have seen on the screen of some friends that they have more space, their chat is longer and stuff like that. I have two screenshots about what Im talking about.

It takes more work to address scaling on a smaller screen and maybe only adjust to about 90-95 % maximum. Any smaller and you will not be able to see much with a small laptop screen. Something like a 19" monitor or larger is ideal. I get it that one may not want or be able to run out and buy a minor or a new laptop for just FGU. A larger screen size would help a lot. If your computer supports it, you can find a used and cheaper monitor when you play. Also, if you find a used monitor, please ensure it has the correct power cord and video cable connection type.
