Summary: Critical damage effects sometimes don't trigger as I would expect with some descriptors or with dice values. I was following the 4E Effects wiki (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996641893/4E+Effects) to write these effects.

1. When adding an effect that adds dice to a critical from their enhancement bonus, the dice aren't rolled on a crit. The same goes for other bonus types or range descriptors. I would expect that the damage dice would be rolled on a crit and not stack with other crit damage from the same bonus type.

2. When listing flat damage with a bonus type and the critical tag, the damage was applied to all damage rolls, where I would expect it only to apply to crits.

Ruleset: D&D 4E

Modules and Extensions loaded: None

Operating System: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add an effect to a character that adds typed bonus dice to critical damage like DMG: 1d6 enhancement, critical;
Roll damage while holding shift to trigger a critical hit.
57317
No extra critical dice are rolled

2. Add an effect to a character that adds typed flat damage to criticals like DMG: 1 enhancement, critical;
Roll damage normally.
57318
The 1 damage is still added to the roll.

Did you try without the "enhancement" subtag? Per the wiki you linked, the DMG effect does not support bonus types.

My reading of the DMG entry says it can support bonus, range, energy, and critical descriptors, am I reading it incorrectly?
