Pathfinder - animal companion

Hello,

What is the best way to include a druid PC's animal companion ? Or a wizard PC's familiar ?

There are multiple choices, my preferred method is to create a second PC sheet and put all their stats in there and then just control both PCs. But, you can also have the DM share the NPC with the player and add to Party Vision. There are also extensions in the Forge that can do more elaborate things.

How do you "share the NPC with the player" ?

Good Day Jimlock :)
If Pathfinder is the same as 5E all the DM needs to do is drag the link onto the character portrait at the top of the screen. This will open the NPC on the players monitor. :)

The "Add Party Vision" open the Settings in the upper Right hand corner, scroll down to Tokens and select "Token: Party vison and movement" to On. :)

I've just got the extension, but I don't see it in the folder "extensions", nor in "downloads".
What did I forget ?

It's probably in the vault - so you won't see it.

Run an update and then look for the extension in the list when loading your campaign.

Have you ran an update? Do this even if the update button isn't showing red.
What ruleset is your campaign using? The extension is only for specific rulesets.

After running the update, you should see a file called CohortsAndCompanions.ext in your <FG app data>\extensions directory. If you don't see that file go into the vault directory and delete a file called 9db48a5e-9438-11ec-8c52-0050562be458.dat then run an update.
