Assignment?

What is the ASSIGNMENT tab on the Party Sheet Parcels tab? Sounds like I can assign the treasure to a specific person and only he can remove it, which is a great idea. But if I click in Assignment or try to drag and drop his portrait nothing happens.
Ideas?

Type the character's name in there. Then when you click the distribute icon it will automatically send that item to that character. It also determines if you use the auto sell icon it will not sell it if any value is in that field. So you can enter things other than the characters, such as "HQ" or "Party" or "Wagon" for things they want to keep and not auto-sell.
