Problem with spell preparation

got a character, started their PC in 5e as a sorcerer. Then added 2 levels of Cleric.

The checkboxes next to spells to indicate preparation dont appear.

I assume this is because Sorcerer's dont require memorisation but clerics do.

How do I make the use of a Sorcerer1/Cleric2 - with Sorcerer as the 1st level and make the tickboxes work?

Click on the magnifying glass at the end of any spell power group and enter a number into the 'Prepared' box. Any number will do.
