I am trying to create an effect so one of my players can use his Unleash Psyche feat.

You call on the depths of your mind and let psychic power flood through. Your Psyche remains Unleashed for 2 rounds or until your fall unconscious, whichever comes first. You can't voluntarily quell your unleashed psyche. While your Psyche is Unleashed, the following effects occur.

*You're constantly surrounded by the visual manifestation of your psychic magic.
*When you cast a damaging spell, you gain a status bonus to its damage equal to double the spell's level. This applies only to spells that don't have a duration and that you cast using psychic spellcasting.
*You can use actions that have the psyche trait.

After your unleashed psyche subsides, your mind must recover from the strain of channeling its full power. You can't use Unleash Psyche again for 2 rounds, and you're stupefied 1 for 2 rounds.

I have tried a number of things and finally came up with this: Unleash Psyche; DMGS: [2LVL] status

When I apply that effect to the character and roll damage for the first level spell Kinetic Ram (1d6 bludgeoning) it does not apply the extra damage which in this case should be 2 points. I have checked to make sure the spells damage is has 'Spell Dmg?' set to Yes.

Referring to the PFRPG2 Effect page in the Wiki: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996643388/PFRPG2+Effects#PC-Specific-Notes---Combat-tracker-effects

A few things can be found in this page:

LVL is for the character level, not the spell level.
Square brackets [...] around a PC specific field is for effects added to the combat tracker. Use curly brackets {...} for character effects.
There isn't a PC specific field that extracts the spell level.

Maybe have a few different effects for each different spell level, and apply the relevant one based off the level of the spell used.

I guess I will settle on an effect progression like this then:

Unleash Psyche 1st Level Spells;DMGS:2
Unleash Psyche 2nd Level Spells;DMGS:4
Unleash Psyche 3rd Level Spells;DMGS:6
.
.
.
Unleash Psyche 10th Level Spells;DMGS:20

Seem a bit inefficient adding a bunch of effects like that though but it works.

There may be something that allows spell level (rank in remastered project terms) to be incorporated into effects in the future, but it's not something that's high on the list at the moment.

There's other ways of handling this, just nothing that's going to cover it 100% with automation:

If the player doesn't want to create a bunch of effects and apply the relevant one, they could always just manually add the modifier before rolling.
Another approach could be to create additional damage entries in the main spells that this might apply to - with the relevant bonus added as a modifier to the base damage instance. Then the player can either click the normal damage button or the psyche damage button.
