FG is so unintuitive. it's like i have to look for hacks and workarounds for EVERYTHI

my DM insists on using this completely clunky and unintuitive app. so me and everyone else in the party constantly struggle with just doing basic things.

for instance - we were all told to level our characters up from 3 to 4. in DnDBeyond, you increase your level and it opens up the extra choices that you have to fill out. my character is a dual class (level 1 rogue and now level 3 fighter). i need to add the Battle Master archetype and (3) Maneuvers but do ya think i could just increase my level in FG and have the options open up so i can pick them? NO.

so here i go - back to these forums or youtube trying to find some way to make this app do the simplest of things. oh - you have to have the SRD option and then duplicate the Fighter class so you can modify it and blah blah blah. don't have the SRD? go and grab it. now duplicate the class like you saw in the video. oh - you can't? wtf.

i don't know what to do anymore. ask for help again to just do the most basic of things in this horribly executed joke of a program? i'm so frustrated.

First make sure you have opened the appropriate source books.

It is recommended that you dont use the SRD if you have access to the Players Handbook.

You can create your character with one of two methods -

When you drag in the fighter class at level three (or select it using the Character Wizard) and choose Battlemaster all of the battle Manoeuvres are added to your characters actions tab. You can remove any that you don't want. Additionally all of the effects are also set up for you.

I'd echo what damned says above. Make sure that you have all of the modules that you need open in the activation screen. Your DM should be able to tell you what books they've made available and which ones they are happy for you to use. It sounds like you don't have those open.
