I was just browsing on Forge and came upon this one called "Turbo": https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/1125/view

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks, but there's no mention of anything PF2E related. Wondering if the effects are noticable?

I started using it on release - I was looking in the logs for an unrelated error, and found that this extension wasn't actually loading into my PF2nd campaign; I just quit using it and didn't follow up to see if newer releases had fixed this problem.

It's fantastic in 5e settings, though.

Sorry - I missed that this was in PF2E forum.

First I heard but I’ll take a look. Are you using other extensions ?

Seems like there was a typo to prevent this from running with PFRPG2. I pushed a fix and it should now function.

Hello, thanks!

I haven't checked back here until now - sorry for not responding to your query earlier.

Ok, I'll see tomorrow if there's a noticable difference :)

This extension sounds REALLY nice! But I'm wondering what the downside of this extension is... otherwise, wouldn't it be built-in to the core FG program?

The extension shifts some of the processing for effects calculations from being done during evaluation time to being cached. This requires more hooks into changes in the code to ensure the cache is up to date as well as it trading off memory usage for speed (though memory usage is probably minor). We have some longer term plans around effects processing; so we will evaluate once we are working on that project.

FYI: the dev of this extension has updated it to support R19 (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?77286-Turbo-Multiple-Rulesets&p=697612&viewfull=1#post697612).

Just checking, is this extension still valid with FGU 4.6.2 ?

I believe so although there have been a lot of pf2 changes since launch. If you see something say something as I don’t use pf2 so I’m not going to probably catch a not obvious issue

I had this on for a short time and 4.6.0 release just happened then and I thought the problems were because of the extension so I deactivated it.

Will turn it back on for now in 4.6.2 and check. Though it probably only matter when CT is filled with 10+ items and each have effects etc. Normally FG shouldn't lag much anyway
