Showcase of Spell Icons

Hello! I just wanted to show off an extension I created that lets players pick from a range of icons to add to the spells on their character sheet's 'abilities' tab. The icon selected will show up in chat next to any attack rolls, saving throws, and damage that comes from that spell.

Unfortunately, the icons I used can't be redistributed (and I don't have the talent to remake 240+ icons myself), so I can't release the extension, but I hope you all enjoy the idea!

Potentially. It wouldn't be for the average user, since defining all of the extension's icons in the xml file is quite the work. If there was a way of doing that dynamically, then that would be awesome, but I'm not aware of any way that could happen.

I would also need to separate all the code out from my personal mega-extension.

The game-icons.net site has icons which can be freely used as long as you give the artist and site credit (if you wanted to distribute them). There are 4K icons there mostly for fantasy and Sci-Fi. I use the site a lot for personal project icons.
