Starfinder Enhanced and Starfinder Core Rulebook

I've been diving into the Starfinder ruleset and am thinking of starting up a game -- but I haven't yet purchased the core rules here on FG. I'm now wondering how the upcoming Enhanced edition will be rolled out. Will it replace the core ruleset? Or will it be an addition, like Tascha's with its rules options? I'm wondering if it's best to stick to D&D until October, and dive into Starfinder then.

We haven't discussed the enhanced edition, still brainstorming ideas.

I'll hold off for a bit then -- I've got some time before we'd be looking to start a new campaign at any rate.
