Used ammo not checking off automatically

I have a player who dragged his ranged attack (in this case a longbow) to a hotkey. When he attacks using the hotkey, the ammo counter on his actions tab doesn't record its use. Can this be corrected with an update? Or is there an extension I can use?

I found an extension that works for me in the Forge. It's called "Ammunition Manager"

Make sure your players are aware that the hotbar makes copies of the action, not links. So when leveling up or otherwise changing the action (i.e. proficiency change, damage change, etc) the hotkey won't update with the new roll.
