View Full Version : Character Wizard spell search bug?

(Using D&D 5E ruleset) I was trying to use the Character Wizard to level up a character, and I noticed that (other than not recognizing known spells that the character already owned) the search bar in the Spells section behaves... oddly. If I type something and press enter, it does not actually filter down the results to match the search. If I start deleting one character at a time from my search, when I get down to 3 or 2 character it does perform some sort of fuzzy search.

I tried to see if it was a problem only with existing characters, given that I used modules like Automated Effects to create this specific one, so I created a new character from zero using the character wizard and using only Wizards of the Coast official material. When I got to the Spells section, the same issue happened:

There was an issue with that filter and I found the issue. The feature never really had a way of figuring out what spells were chosen by class selection and what were added by other means. So the restriction is lifted till a better solution is found.

EDIT: Ignore this, I did not notice that an update to FGU already fixed the search field.
