Fighting style- defense

Hi, one of my characters has chosen the fighting style Defense, which gives you a +1 AC when you are wearing an armor. How can I apply this bonus please? Can I manually change the AC, as the DM?

I am using D&D 5e.

Yes you can manually apply it in a few ways.
1)You can just update the mod bonus on the AC on the main tab
2)You can use an effect on the player Fighting Style Defense; AC: 1 and remove it if they not wearing armor
3)You can change the AC bonus of the armor the player is wearing to be +1

Either put the effect on the character in the combat tracker. The effect is:
Fighting Style Defense; AC: 1

Or on the character sheet you can make a power that creates that effect and targets "self".

If they don't change armor much, you can apply it to the armor and just remember when they change armor. If they do, you can add an effect to them in the CT
Fighting Style Defense; AC: 1
Then remove it if they have no armor on.

You have multiple options, see post #2.
My recommendation is to use an effect, see post #4.
The player (or you) can also add an Action to the character sheet's Action tab so they can add and remove the effect as appropriate, see post #5 for videos on how to do this.
