Changing color of borders

I have used the payer "painting" to draw walls aroud a map, in black. Now I realize that the players cannot see the walls, as they are black lik56144e the unseen area. Can I change the color black to something else? I tried everyting but I can't. I hope I don't have to redraw everything :(

Once 'painted' you can't change entity properties (i.e. color). At least I've never been able to.
