Creating shortcut on DM interface to whisper to a player

I have been trying to create a shortcut to be able to whisper to player A for example but I didn't succeed. Is it possible and if so with what syntax ?
When one player name looks like Zylvurgatz this can be handy :-)

just do a /w zyl or whatever the first few letters that would make it unique.
