Hi! I am playing D&D 5e and I am looking for a way to place Pre-prepared encounters on a map, so that everything is already in the different rooms and I don't have to look for pre-saved custom encounters in the menu and drag them on the map when I need them. Is there a way to do so please? I am an ex roll20 user, and I used to place the tokens in a DM layer and then unveil them when needed. I am trying to find out how to do something similar in FGU. Thanks!

Use encounters, as shown in this article (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996640999/Preparing+Encounters+and+Random+Encounters).

You can then drag the small icon in the upper left corner to a Story entry to create a link to the encounter, or drag the same icon to the map to Pin the encounter to the map for quick access.

Usually I would suggest using a Story entry that way you can setup all of your background info and any text you want to share with the players, then open the Encounter from the Story entry, then use the ' Add to Combat Tracker' button to put all of the NPCs onto the Combat Tracker, from there, they will show up as hidden on the map until you make them visible.
