Hi, is it possible to use a consumable item (e.g. a potion, a wand, a scroll etc) and apply its effects directly to the target (character or monster) please? Can you do this with the standard FG options, or do you need a third-party extension? I would be happy to invest some money for it if necessary!!!
Thanks, cheers,
N

You should mention the ruleset you are using since different ones may well have different ways of doing things.

In most rulesets you would use effects to create the necessary actions; and use preparation mode to limit the number of uses etc.

If you say what ruleset we can point you to where you might get further information.

Generally in 5E you can make effects for magic items that change stats, AC, saves, to hit, damage or wounds.
