Updater:-- Error: Failed to receive files

I've purchased via steam, I've the basic and ultimate keys and I've used it on my PC for remote sessions.
However now I've an IP session and installed on laptop to run easily as DM.

Problem is that I've reinstalled it a number of times and tried both basic and ultimate keys. I've also checked firewall. Updater locates all my products and items in vault, but when it starts to download, it goes to 0.6mbs then I'm hit with Error: Failed to receive files. The selected folders has read/write permissions on it

Can you take a screen snip of the error? (Windows+Shift+S on Windows machine)

In general, I would assume it's because something is blocking the network access to the application/machine. Make sure that the Windows Firewall specifically allows access to FGUpdaterEngine.exe, as well as making sure that you do not have any content blockers/IP blockers/parental controls/etc. running on either your machine or your router.

Found solution.

Copied files and app data from PC to Laptop. Now updater is working perfectly.
I believe it's tied to the windows defender bug that dropped this weekend, removing permissions off PCs.
